Couples Golf and Dinner Event

Saddleback Scramble Shooutout Rules 4-Person Teams All groups start on Hole #1 (like a HERD) Ladies play Silver Tees Men play Blue Tees Scramble to get to the green THE FIRST BALL ON THE GREEN FROM YOUR TEAM IS THE BALL YOUR TEAM MUST PUTT!  Once your team has a ball on the green, your other teammates may not hit a shot to the green.  Any additional shots will count against your score.  REMEMBER: anything over par will eliminate your team from this competition! All teams that score par (or better) will advance to the next hole.  Any teams that score bogey (or worse) may choose to follow along to watch the competition and embibe, OR they may go to an open hole to continue playing. Keep in mind: We will have a bev cart that will follow the HERD.  Also, eliminated groups may not hold up HERD play. The HERD' play has priority on the course. If there is no clear winner after the completion of the 9th hole, competitors will choose one player to putt for their team in a blind PUTT-OFF A blind putt off is when the competitors may not watch the person that will be putting before them.  If at any time there is no team with a score of par (or better) on a hole, there will be a putt off. The team with the farthest putt from the hole will be eliminated from competition. If only one team (at any time) scores par (or better) at any time during the competition, the competition is completed and that team is the winner. If it is before the 9th hole, competitors are encouraged to play more golf until dinner is served at 8pm. These rules may be modified to accommodate an event with fewer than 9 foursomes!
